eHowis | Step(2) Click on “Create a free forum” that will be on top right of the page

eHowis | Step(3) Select any forum software there phpBB 3 , phpp 2 , Invision, or punBB, that you will like to work with. Mostly phpbb 2 is used in Forumotion,  because Forumotion gives the template editing option only for phpbb 2 and punBB. However dont worry you can even change your forum software after creating your forum without loosing any forum data.

eHowis | Step(4) After choosing the software, Select the theme that you’ll like for your forum,However Forumotion gives you option to change your skin after creating the forum as well by forumotion admin panel or by Hitskin.com

eHowis | Step(5) Click on Continue. Then fill the desired boxes their according to your choice of forum. i.e give the title of your forum, Description, Internet Address for your forum, Language, Time Zone

eHowis | Step(6) In Admin’s informations, Put your email address and administration id password [administration password must contain at least 6 characters (letters AND numbers) to make your forum security strong]

Congratulations your newly created forum will be operational now. Just go to your forum address and then login with username admin and with your chosen password and start editing your forum by clicking on Administration Panel that will be on the footer of your forum page after getting logged in with administration id.

Note in some case like in phpbb3 you have to login with administration not with admin

The main disadvantage of the forumotion free forum is that we can not access database so it is impossible tranfer our forum to other hosting company and they give their ads as well
